A very talented and speedy back... a redshirt in 2024... has an excellent future in the program.

BEFORE PORTLAND STATE

Lettered in football at El Cerrito High School… as a junior at Clayton Valley Charter, he rushed 92 times for 732 yards and 10 touchdowns… also caught 15 passes for 172 yards... was a two-time first team All-League selection and All-San Francisco Metro honoree... team Offensive Player of the Year... also competed in track and field... ran a 10.8 100 meters and a 22.2 200 meters.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Vernon and Lisa Avery... brother of former Viking Isaiah Avery, a two-year starter at cornerback (2022-23), and Elijah Avery.
