2020 Honors
Academic All-Big Sky Conference

An undersized player, but showed he can play at the FCS level... very strong... one of the few returners on the defensive line.

SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2022

Competed in eight games... had three tackles, one for loss and a forced a fumble.

FRESHMAN SEASON • 2021

Competed in five games as a backup defensive tackle before his season was cut short by injury... had a sack and a forced fumble in the win over Idaho State (10/16).

BEFORE PORTLAND STATE

Played football four years on the Mater Dei High School, starting for three seasons… selected to the Division I All-CIF team in 2019… named Defensive Lineman of the Year for his team as a senior… his team won back-to-back national championships.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Son of Yesenia Lilly Hurtado… has two brothers, Robert and Dario… majoring in Mechanical Engineering… hobby is fishing.
