Big Sky Conference Community Service Team
A team leader on and off the field... is poised for a strong senior season... has experience and smarts... played in 26 career games.
JUNIOR SEASON • 2021
Played in 10 games at tight end... had three receptions for 27 yards on the season... made two catches for 26 yards against 13th-ranked Montana State (9/25)... named to the All-Big Sky Conference Community Service Team, which recognizes student-athletes who have dedicated their time to helping others and have gone above and beyond in making an impact on their campus and community... a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee as an executive representative, a co-creator of the SAAC Social Justice Team, assisted with the freshman student-athlete mentorship program, and a volunteer with Holy Redeemer Athletics and Big Yard Foundation.
SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2019
Competed in nine games, mainly at tight end and on special teams... also saw some plays at defensive end... caught two passes for 18 yards, including a 15-yard touchdown against Eastern Oregon (9/21)... also had one tackle on special teams.
FRESHMAN SEASON • 2018
Played in six games before a leg injury ended his season... saw increasing playing, but did not make a reception... a redshirt in 2017.
BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Lettered in football and basketball three times each at Central Catholic High School... honorable mention All-Mt. Hood Conference... a member of two state champion teams at Central Catholic... ranked as the 11th-best prospect in the state of Oregon by Battle Prep West... competed in the Les Schwab Bowl All-Star game, catching four passes for 75 yards.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Duray and Sonora Thirdgill... has one brother, Vaughn, and one sister, Tamia... majoring in Social Science... has a goal to graduate in three-and-a-half-years... hobbies are bowling, music and helping with CYO basketball.Â
