FRESHMAN SEASON • 2023

Played in four games as a backup quarterback... completed 8-12 passes for 98 yards and one touchdown on the season... a redshirt in 2022, but played in one game at Cal Poly, completing one of three passes for 11 yards with an interception.

BEFORE PORTLAND STATE

Lettered four times in football at Orange Lutheran High School… as a senior, playing in 15 games, he completed 292 of 461 passes for 3,975 yards, 47 touchdowns and just seven interceptions… led his team to the Division 2 Southern Section Championship… named All-CIF and Offensive Player of the Year… All-Trinity League first team… as a junior was team offensive MVP and second team All-Trinity League… for his career, Gonzalez completed 406-667 passes for 5,571 yards, 61 TDs and 15 INTs… a member of the Honor Roll and received the team scholar-athlete award.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Son of Mike and Trina Gonzalez… has two brothers, Marcus and Lucas… majoring in Business Administration: Technology and Analytics… hobbies are playing with his dog, going to the beach and hanging out with friends… would like to play in the NFL and work at a Big Four Firm.
