A tough player who will vie for playing time in 2010... should again have a role on special teams.

JUNIOR SEASON • 2009
Appeared in four games on special teams... made two tackles... a late transfer to PSU in 2008, he redshirted that season.

PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
A transfer from Lewis and Clark College where he played two seasons... named second team All-Northwest Conference at linebacker.
   
Earned three letters in football at Hillcrest High School... a two-time All-Conference selection... named honorable mention All-State.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Bruce and Juanita Takeno... born September 14, 1986... has two brothers, Robert and Ken, and one sister, Toni... majoring in Communications.
