One of the most experienced players on the team with 31 career games and 10 starts... will need to come back from a knee injury suffered late in the 2023 season.
JUNIOR SEASON • 2023
Became a full-time starter at defensive end... played in the first nine games before missing the last two with injury.... made 19 tackles, four tackles for loss, two sacks, forced two fumbles and broke up a pass... had a career-high six tackles with a sack and a forced fumble in the win over Eastern Washington (10/28)... named CSC Academic All-District and Academic All-Big Sky Conference.
SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2022
Competed in all 11 games as a backup defensive end... started the season finale at Cal Poly... had eight tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks on the season... had a season-high three tackles against Weber State (10/15)... earned Academic All-Big Sky Conference honors... named to the Dean’s List in 2023.
FRESHMAN SEASON • 2021
Played in seven games before his season ended due to injury... earned time at backup defensive end and on special teams... had one sack in the game at Washington State (9/11)... competed in four games, mainly on special teams, during his redshirt season of 2019... had one tackle in the spring game at Montana... named Academic All-Big Sky Conference in both 2020 and 2021.
BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Lettered in football and track three times each at Punahou High School… has twice been an honorable mention All-League football player… placed in the discus and shot put at the state championship meet… a member of the school honor roll.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Charmaine Freeman… has earned his degree in Applied Health and Fitness, now working on his MBA… hobbies include power lifting, volunteers with Shriner’s Children’s Hospital and as a teacher’s assistant at local middle school… would like to become an athletic trainer or doctor.
