HM All-Big Sky Conference
Has excellent speed, lending itself to his talent as a kick returner... currently holds PSU career record for yards per return (26.7)... with 1,040 total yards ranks ninth all-time at PSU... should be a hybrid back/receiver/return man for the Vikings in 2017... if he stays healthy will put up big numbers.
JUNIOR SEASON • 2016
Made the move to offense due to his speed... would have had a big year if not for injuries early and late in the season... played in five games with one start through the middle of the year... returned eight kicks for 263 yards and a touchdown... had 10 rushing plays for 23 yards and one reception for three yards... had an 83-yard kick return for touchdown against Cal Poly (10/29).
SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2015
Became a valuable contributor to the team as a kick returner... averaged 25.1 yards per return, totaling 31 returns and 777 yards... his average ranked sixth in the Big Sky Conference and 26th in the nation... his 94-yard return for touchdown in the first quarter at Idaho State (9/12) ignited the Vikings to a 34-14 win... his 777 return yards ranks third-most for a season in PSU history... earned honorable mention All-Big Sky Conference as a return specialist.
FRESHMAN SEASON • 2014
Played in 11 games, mainly on special teams... saw some action at cornerback... had two tackles on the season.. a redshirt in 2013.
PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
Lettered in football, basketball and track at Graham-Kapowsin High School... was a first team All-League receiver and defensive back two years in a row... first team All-Area wide receiver... selected as the team defensive MVP... a US Army All-American nominee.

Son of Charles and Queliya Dawson... has one brother, Kuron, and one sister, Jasani... plans to major in Business Marketing and Law... hobbies are sports, games and hanging out.
