Biography

Became a regular on special teams, then saw his role expand at receiver late in his junior season... should lend great depth and experience his senior season.

JUNIOR SEASON • 2016
Initially a special teams player, his time increased at wide receiver as injuries became a factor at the position... ended up starting the last two games and played in all 11... had four receptions for 41 yards and a touchdown... caught two passes in a win at UC Davis (11/5) and two against Eastern Washington (11/18), scoring on a 13-yard touchdown... made seven tackles on special teams for the season.

SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2015
Got into one game as a sophomore but did not have any receptions... a redshirt in 2013, he competed on scout team in 2014 and 2015.

PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
Earned three letters in football and two in basketball at Southridge High School... was first team All-Metro League and honorable mention All-State as a receiver... team MVP... was the team’s Most Valuable Defender in basketball.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Janet and Peter Calo... has three brothers, Josh, Jacob and Jordan, and one sister, Fallon... would like to major in Business Marketing... hobbies are basketball and enjoying the outdoors with friends.
