Academic All-Big Sky Conference

A top recruit in 2019... great combination of strength and speed... should be a force on defense for the next three seasons.

FRESHMAN SEASON • 2021

Played in nine games, started five... had a strong season with 39 tackles, ranking seventh on the team... also had 6.5 tackles for loss, two sacks and two pass breakups... opened season with 10 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and a sack at Hawai’i (9/4)... made four tackles, a sack and two pass breakups in a win over Idaho State (10/16)... competed in the spring game at Montana, making nine tackles, including one for loss... played in two games in 2019 but maintained redshirt status... named Academic All-Big Sky Conference for 2020-21 despite not having a season due to COVID.

BEFORE PORTLAND STATE

Lettered in football and track at Clackamas High School… named first team All-State and first team All-Conference two years in a row… was Oregon 6A State Defensive Player of the Year and Mt. Hood Conference Defensive Player of the Year as his team reached the state semifinals in 2018… had 65 tackles, six sacks and two fumble recoveries as a senior… made 63 tackles, seven sacks, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries his junior season.

Son of David Pagan and Angie Sames… has one brother, Devin, and one sister, Alizia… majoring in Business Administration: Marketing.
