    PSU Most Outstanding Defensive Lineman

    A tremendous late signing for the Vikings in the summer of 2010... came in and proved he was ready to play right away... tremendous strength and quickness for his size... has played in the most games of any returning defensive player (29) and has the most sacks (7).

JUNIOR SEASON • 2012
    Played in 10 games, starting two... made seven tackles, three tackles for loss, two sacks, and blocked an extra point... had two tackles for loss, a sack and a blocked kick in the season-opening win over Carroll (9/1)... season-high three tackles and a sack at North Dakota (9/8).

SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2011
    Played in 10 games and started six at defensive end after Carl Sommer was injured... had seven tackles, 2.5 sacks, four quarterback hurries and a fumble recovery for the season... had two sacks in the win at Idaho State (10/1)... also had two tackles and a sack in the win at Northern Colorado (11/12).

FRESHMAN SEASON • 2010
    Was cleared to play late, missing the first game, but played in nine, starting eight times... had 12 total tackles on the season... 4.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and one fumble recovery... had three tackles and 1.5 sacks in the win over Idaho State (10/2)... made three tackles at Weber State (10/23)... earned honorable mention All-Big Sky Conference... named Most Outstanding Defensive Lineman by his teammates at the end of the year.

PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
    Lettered in football four times at Bellevue High School... a top prospect rated eighth-best in the state of Washington and 36th-best at his position in the nation by Rivals.com... 16th-ranked defensive tackle by espn.com... a two-time first team All-Kingco and first team All-State selection... named 3A State Player of the Year... was a member of two state champion teams... was heavily recruited by Pac-10 schools and originally made a verbal commitment to UCLA.
