Has an opportunity to increase his role at defensive tackle... a strong player with experience in the program.

Played in five games, earning the start in a win at Cal Poly (10/24)... had one tackle in that game.

PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
Originally signed at Wyoming where he was a redshirt in 2014.

Lettered in football and basketball at Canyon Del Oro High School... played defensive end and running back... a three-time All-Conference selection and two-time All-City selection... earned first team All-State... named second team All-State in basketball... Canyon Del Oro was a two-time conference champion, going 10-2 his senior season.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of John Jackson Sr. and Nicole Jackson... has three brothers and one sister... Criminal Justice major... interested in becoming a college football coach.
