The Vikings Coaching Staff says: “Great potential for a guy who can play multiple positions for us. John is very athletic and loves the game.”
 
BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Lettered in football four times at East High School... named All-State twice and All-Region three times... as a senior, made 49 tackles, two sacks and recovered a fumble in nine games... as a junior had 91 tackles, one sack, an interception and a fumble recovery in 11 games... as a sophomore made 54 tackles with an interception in eight games... a four-year starter.
 
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Kolini and Uluaki Amone... has five brothers, Ukasy, Losi, Amini, Lani and Moses and one sister, Mele... plans to major in Business... would like to be a college football coach.
