Originally a walk-on he earned a scholarship after his first year in the program... the only thing stopping him after that was injuries... finally got healthy in the later part of 2022 and showed the dynamic runner he can be... very strong and fast, he should be a key part of the offense... part of a deep and talented group of running backs returning in 2023.
SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2022
Played in eight games, starting two... missed three games and was slowed early in the season with injury... once he got going, he was a force averaging seven yards per carry over the last four games... totaled 58 carries for 355 yards and three touchdowns... ranked second on the team in rushing despite being featured in only four games... rushed for a career high 148 yards on 19 carries in the win at Eastern Washington (10/29)... followed that with 12 carries for 81 yards and a touchdown in a win over Northern Colorado (11/5)... also had three catches for 25 yards and a score... rushed eight times for 78 yards and a TD against Sacramento State.
FRESHMAN SEASON • 2021
Was expected to be a key member of the Viking backfield but was injured in the first game at Hawai’i (9/4)... had four rushes for 13 yards in the game... a redshirt as 2019... had the ultimate “trial run”, playing the season’s final game against Eastern Washington... rushed 12 times for a team-high 93 yards and a touchdown... also played at Montana in the spring game, rushing nine times for 24 yards and catching three passes for 19 yards.
BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Lettered in football, basketball and track and field at Sam Barlow High School... named first team All-League as a running back as a junior and a senior... was Mt. Hood Conference Offensive Player of the Year... rushed for 1,800 yards and 435 receiving yards and was named second team All-State.
