The Coaching Staff says: “Jayden is an explosive player with great position versatility. He is a phenomenal athlete that can play in the box and in space. We are very excited for him to be a part of this defense.”
 
BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Lettered in football, baseball and track at Silverado High School… a three-star prospect according to 247Sports.com… three-time All-League selection in football… as a senior had 29 receptions for 514 yards and six touchdowns… also rushed 14 times for 94 yards and a score… on defense, made 49 tackles, three interceptions and a fumble recovery… had over 2,000 all-purpose yards and 25 touchdowns in his career… his team was a CIF-SS Division 10 Champion.
 
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Heather and Kareem Pauling… brother of former Viking player, Tyson Pauling, an All-Conference offensive lineman… has another brother, Dylan, and two sisters, Bailey and MacKenzie… hobbies are video games, hanging out with friends, golf and hiking… plans to major in Criminal Justice… would like to work in the police force.
