Played two seasons of football at College of the Siskiyous... named honorable mention All-League as a fullback... also competed in track and field in the discus and hammer throws... five-time scholar athlete... made the Dean’s List.

Lettered in football and wrestling twice each, track three times and lacrosse once at Wilson High School... named first team All-League defensive end and second team All-League running back as a senior... selected as team MVP... National Football Foundation Scholarship winner... played in the Les Schwab All-Star Bowl Game... first team All-League offensive lineman and second team All-League defensive tackle as a junior... placed second in his district in wrestling... was first in district in the discus and second in the shot put... team captain in football, wrestling and track.
