A good athlete that fits the defensive scheme... ranks second on the defense and third on the team in games played entering his senior season... will compete to start in 2023.
JUNIOR SEASON • 2022
Played in 11 games once again, getting the start at middle linebacker in the finale at Cal Poly... earned significant playing time making 27 tackles for the season... also had 3.5 tackles for loss, one sack and an interception... led the team with seven tackles against Weber State (10/15)... three tackles, one for loss and an interception in the win over Lincoln (10/8)... had six tackles, including one for loss at Idaho (10/22).... three tackles and a sack in his start at Cal Poly (11/19)... earned Academic All-Big Sky Conference honors for a third straight season.
SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2021
Played in all 11 games at backup linebacker and on special teams... made six tackles... opted out for the spring 2021 season... named Academic All-Big Sky Conference for 2020-21 despite not having a season due to COVID.
FRESHMAN SEASON • 2019
Played in 11 games, mostly on special teams... had four tackles on the season... a redshirt in 2018.
BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Lettered in football and track three years at Bishop O’Dowd High School... team won the state championship... made 85 tackles, eight sacks and a fumble recovery as a senior... named All-Metro, All-Bay Area and first team All-League... a four-time scholar athlete.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Regina Henry... has one brother, Tye... majoring in Criminology and Criminal Justice... hobbies are working out and chilling with his friends... has a career goal of being a lawyer and creating positive change for the marginalized in society.
