Honorable Mention All-Big Sky Conference
A talented tight end and athlete... very strong and physical... showed receiving, running and special teams abilities... should have two big seasons ahead.
SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2013
Did a little of everything for the Vikings, receiving, running, blocking and on special teams... played in 11 games, starting one... saw significant time at tight end, but late in the season was placed into the role of wildcat quarterback to great success... rushed 27 times in three games for 191 yards and a touchdown... had three receptions for 65 yards, one kick return for 16 yards and also completed one pass on the season... made five tackles on special teams... rushed 10 times for a season-high 79 yards in the win over Weber State (11/2)... had 10 carries for 48 yards and a touchdown and a 12-yard reception in the win at Idaho State (11/9)... rushed seven times for 64 yards, completed a nine-yard pass, had a 16-yard kickoff return and a special teams tackle against Sacramento State (11/16)... earned honorable mention All-Big Sky as a special teams player.
PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
Originally signed with Boise State in 2011, he was a gray shirt then competed in 2012... played in six games, catching two balls for 20 yards.
Lettered in football, basketball and track at Glencoe High School... first team All-Conference as a senior, second team All-Conference as a junior... caught 31 passes for 457 yards, and rushed for 251 yards as a senior... scored five touchdowns as a senior and five as a junior... was the number one tight end in Oregon according to Rivals.com... a state champion in the javelin... team captain in football and track... was also the Student Body President.
