Originally walked on at Portland State... has found a role as a blocking tight end, vital to the Pistol system.

JUNIOR SEASON • 2011
Became an important blocker in the running game... participated in eight games, mainly in the “heavy” package when the Vikings went to extra tight ends... did not have any receptions.

SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2010
Played in two games late in the season on special teams.

PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
Spent the 2008 season as a redshirt at Eastern Oregon... lettered in football, track and basketball at Federal Way High School... earned four letters in track and competed at state in the high jump... a team captain... lettered three times in football... earned All-South Puget Sound League honors as a wide receiver and defensive back... his team won the SPSL championship in 2007.
