Spent two seasons at Utah State… as a redshirt freshman in 2025, played in 11 games… had four tackles, one interception and one pass breakup… a redshirt in 2024 who competed in one game.
 
Lettered in football and track at Emerald Ridge High School… earned first-team All-League and All-Area honors as both a safety and wide receiver during his junior and senior seasons... during his prep career, he rushed for 1,655 yards and 20 touchdowns... defensively, he posted 98 career tackles, which included 10.0 tackles for loss, to go along with five interceptions... rushed for 554 yards and nine touchdowns, and recorded 30 tackles, including 2.0 tackles for loss, to go along with two interceptions during his senior season... helped his team to a third-place finish in state as a junior… a three-star prospect by 247Sports.

Son of Mark and Debra Kafentzis… has two brothers, Landon and Tyson, and one sister, Georgia… his father and brother, Tyson, both played football at Hawai’i… has several cousins who have played Division I football, including Roman, who played at PSU in 2023… majoring in Business Finance… would like to be a financial advisor… hobbies include fishing and reading.
