A two-year starter at kicker, has made 10-14 career field goals and 66-67 extra points... capable of kicking and punting.
SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2022
Starting kicker in all 11 games... made 37-38 extra points and 5-6 field goals for the season... kicked two field goals at Washington (9/10)... had a long of 40 yards on two occasions... only miss for the season was from 54 yards... earned Academic All-Big Sky Conference honors... named to the President's List in 2023.
FRESHMAN SEASON • 2021
Thrust into the kicking role in the third game after an injury to Cody Williams... started the final eight games of the season... converted all 29 extra points... was 5-8 on field goals... kicked a season-long 49-yard field goal in the win at Weber State (11/6)... made two field goals in the win over Southern Utah (10/2), from 35 and 28 yards... converted his first career field goal attempt, a 41-yarder against Montana State (9/25).
BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Lettered in football, soccer and track at Oak Park High School... named an All-County quarterback, kicker and punter... member of the athletic honor roll.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Lisa and Christopher Smith... has two brothers, Carter and Alexander... majoring in Psychology... hobbies are art and music... would like to be a professional football player or sports therapist.
