The Viking Coaching Staff says: "Portland State's excellent Geology Department and Professor Scott Burns were actually a major factor in Gavin deciding to transfer here and further his education. He is a tall tackle with lots of experience and will compete to start on the edge."
 
BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Competed three seasons at Brown University... competed in football, basketball, track, lacrosse and volleyball at St. Anthony's High School... an All-League lineman... earned All-League in volleyball as well... four-year member of the honor roll.
 
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Nichelle and William Miller... has two brothers, Dwayne and Derrel, and a sister, Gabby... a graduate transfer with a degree in Geology Sciences/Earth and Planetary Sciences... would like to be a researcher or a geologist... hobbies are cars, construction, legos, and multiple community service projects.
