Biography

Has started at center in the last 16 games he has been healthy... expected to be granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA due to having two injury seasons (2015, 2017)... would be a key player up front once again.

JUNIOR SEASON • 2018
Returned to health after an injury season and started all 11 games at center...started the first game of 2017 at BYU but a knee injury wiped out the remainder of his season.

SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2016
  Played in five games and started the last four at center... stepped in after Chad Bach was injured and played well, not giving up his spot... a redshirt in 2014... missed the 2015 season with a knee injury.

BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Competed in football, swimming, wrestling and track at Sam Barlow High School... a first team All-Mt. Hood Conference selection on both the offensive and defensive line as a junior and a senior... team captain and Defensive MVP... National Football Foundation Scholar Athlete for all Mt. Hood Conference Linemen... honorable mention All-Mt. Hood Conference in the discus... team throwing captain... National Honor Society member at Sam Barlow... selected to play in the Les Schwab Bowl All-Star game.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Eric and Wendy Stauffer... has one brother, Triston, and one sister, Brynna... majoring in Mechanical Engineering... hobbies are fly fishing, wood working and the outdoors.
