A fixture on special teams, he expanded his role at tight end as well... played in all 11 games, starting six... caught two passes for 17 yards, including a 10-yard touchdown at UC Davis (11/4)... had six tackles on special teams.
SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2022
Played in 10 games, mainly on special teams... had six tackles for the season, including one for a 10-yard loss... blocked two punts against Lincoln (10/8)... did not have any receptions.
FRESHMAN SEASON • 2021
Played in four games, mainly on special teams... saw his first competition in the spring game at Montana.
BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Lettered in football four times and basketball at North Medford High School… team MVP as a junior and a senior… primarily a running back as a senior, tight end as a junior… as a senior, rushed 277 times for 1,993 yards (7.2) and 19 touchdowns in 10 games… also caught three passes for 31 yards and a TD and had a punt return touchdown… named first team All-Conference and Offensive Player of the Year… honorable mention All-State... as junior, caught 34 passes for 649 yards (19.1) and five touchdowns… rushed 32 times for 333 yards (10.4) and two TDs… also named first team All-Conference and Offensive Player of the Year.
