Biography

A slot receiver and kick returner... will battle to get back on the field as a senior. 

JUNIOR SEASON • 2019
Competed in one game early in the season, then sat out the remainder of the year. 

SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2018
Began the season as the starting slot receiver but was injured in the first game at Nevada... ended up playing in four games with three starts... had seven receptions for 73 yards and three kick returns for 59 yards on the season... season-best game was four catches for 47 yards against North Dakota (11/10).

FRESHMAN SEASON • 2017
Played in seven games and saw his role increase as the season wore on... played at both receiver and on special teams... had 10 kick returns for 202 yards (20.2), two receptions for 29 yards and two rushes for eight yards... a redshirt in 2016.

BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Lettered in football, track and baseball at Tumwater High School... earned Tacoma All-Area and Olympian All-Area first teams... named to the Seattle Times Top 100 list... team finished second in state three times and third once... a team captain... lettered twice in baseball and his team earned second and third in state... competed in the state track meet in the long jump.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Chuck and Dana Trakel... has two brothers, Jarin and Tanner, and one sister, Cayla... majoring in Arts and Letters.. hobbies are fishing, music production and volunteering.
