Competed in football, track and golf in at St. Joseph High School... named first team All-League... passed for 3,125 yards, 33 touchdowns and nine interceptions... completed 227 of 331 passes... also rushed for 380 yards and seven touchdowns... selected as team MVP... broke six school records as a quarterback... as a junior passed for 1,529 yards, 12 TDs and eight interceptions... also rushed for 329 yards.
