Missed all of 2025 due to a leg injury in fall camp... if he comes back healthy, should be a key player at the linebacker role... good size and agility.
SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2024
Played in all 11 games at linebacker and on special teams... made 24 total tackles, ranking 11th on the team... made a career-high 12 tackles and a tackle for loss in the season finale win over Northern Colorado (11/23)... earned Academic All-Big Sky Conference honors.
FRESHMAN SEASON • 2023
Played in nine games, as a backup on defense and on special teams... made four tackles on the season... a redshirt in 2022, but was able to compete in four games, making one tackle... earned Academic All-Big Sky Conference honors.
BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Lettered four times in football, three times in baseball, twice in basketball and once in track at Mount Baker High School... an All-Conference linebacker, was twice named Defensive Player of the Year... was named Defensive MVP in the East-West All-State game... state champion in the shotput and discus as a senior.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Kevin and Susan Beason... has one brother, Cade... majoring in Mathematics... wants to be a high school math teacher and coach football... hobbies are working out and swimming.
