A very athletic and fast player... will move from defensive end to tight end for his senior season where his athleticism should serve him well... played tight end while at Arizona.
JUNIOR SEASON • 2014
Playing time was a little erratic but he did have some big moments... played in 10 games, started two... had three tackles, 1.5 for losses, a sack and a forced fumble at Oregon State (8/30)... had the same line in the win over UC Davis (10/4)... also had a sack at North Dakota... finished the year with 18 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, three sacks and two forced fumbles... was fourth on the team in tackles for loss and sacks.
SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2013
Played in 11 games as a backup defensive end... had 15 tackles, three tackles for loss and was in on two sacks... made a season-high eight tackles at Montana (10/5) with one tackle for loss.
PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
Spent two years at Arizona... was a redshirt in 2011... played in two games at tight end in 2012.
Orginally from New York, but lettered in football at Hoover High School in San Diego... was a San Diego Section 2nd team All-CIF selection as a defensive lineman... named first team All-Western Football League... had 36 tackles, seven sacks and three forced fumbles... caught 18 passes for 333 yards and five touchdowns as a tight end... also a track athlete and shooting guard on the basketball team... averaged 16 points and seven rebounds, earning All-CIF honors for two seasons... played on the African Adidas Select touring team.
