    1st team All-Big Sky Conference
    PSU Most Valuable Player/Outstanding Offensive Back

    One of the great stories in 2010 at Portland State and in the Big Sky Conference... was moved to running back (where he starred in high school) and became a first team All-Conference performer... turned in one of the best seasons by a running back in school history.... should be just as dominant in 2011 in the Pistol offense... a great athlete with surprising breakaway speed... an All-Conference and All-America candidate in 2011.

JUNIOR SEASON • 2010
Took over as the Vikings’ starting running back, playing in all 11 games and producing as much as could be expected... rushed 231 times for 1,287 yards and 10 touchdowns to rank second in the Big Sky Conference and 12th in the nation... in eight Big Sky games, he led the league with 1,131 yards and nine touchdowns, despite missing most of the final game... averaged 5.6 yards per carry... his season rushing total ranks eighth in Portland State history, while his eight 100-yard games ties for third-best at PSU... led PSU’s run attack to a league-leading 203.3 yards per game, and just a few yards short of a school record... had 1,247 yards rushing against nine FCS opponents (138.6 per game)... showed his durability with at least 20 carries, 100 yards, a 20+yard run and a touchdown in seven straight Big Sky games... only came up short in the finale at Northern Arizona when he went down with a quad injury in the first quarter... also caught 17 passes for 136 yards and another touchdown on the season... named the team’s Most Valuable Player and Outstanding Offensive Back... earned first team All-Big Sky Conference... had his first 100-yard game in the win over UC Davis (9/11) with 116 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries... also had three receptions for 35 yards and another TD against ISU... ... carried 24 times for 166 yards and a score in the win over Idaho State (10/2)... rushed 20 times for 153 yards and two scores against Big Sky Champion Montana State (10/9)... had 24 carries, 109 yards and a touchdown against Montana (10/16)... totaled 178 yards and two touchdowns at Weber State (10/23)... rushed 28 times for 100 yards and a touchdown against national champion Eastern Washington (10/30)... went for 187 yards and a touchdown at Sacramento State (11/6)... posted a season-high 226 yards against Northern Colorado (11/6), including 203 in the first half... one of 23 Vikings to play in every game and one of nine to start every game.

SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2009
Played in five games as a backup slot receiver... had one reception for 16 yards in the season opener at Oregon State (9/5)... caught six passes for 179 yards and three touchdowns in the 2009 Spring Game.

FRESHMAN SEASON • 2008
Competed as a true freshman, but played in only five games as he transitioned to a new position and a much higher level of competition... had two receptions on the season.

PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
Simply the most prolific runner in Oregon High School football history, gaining 8,460 yards - a three-year total... that total ranks 16th on the all-time national high school list and is more than 3,000 yards better than the next best total in Oregon history... as a senior he rushed for a state-record 2,925 yards, 46 touchdowns, and his team reached in the Oregon 4A State Championship game... Johnny Carpenter Prep Athlete of the Year Finalist... named the Oregonian State Player of the Year... also named Gatorade State Player of the Year... was also the Oregonian 4A State Player of the Year in 2006... also a state-level competitor in track and field.

Son of Sally Bones... born October 30, 1989... has one sister, Devon... would like to major in Physiology... hobbies are ping-pong, billiards, snowboarding, XBox, surfing and salsa dancing.
