Won a heated battle for the starting quarterback job in 2010 and proved his worth in eight starts before suffering a broken bone in his left, throwing hand... showed a great ability to run with the ball and be elusive at the quarterback position, which is valuable in the Pistol Offense... also became an efficient passer... an excellent leader and team player... should be healthy coming into the 2011 season and poised for an excellent year.

JUNIOR SEASON • 2010

SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2009
Took on a role as backup quarterback and proved to be a nice change of pace to Drew Hubel with his running ability... played in nine games at quarterback and was pressed into starting duty twice when Hubel was injured... also was the holder for place kicking and field goals... completed 47 of 83 passes for 444 yards, two touchdowns and five interceptions... rushed 72 times for 390 yards and three touchdowns to rank second on the team... best passing game was a 12 of 18 effort for 131 yards and two touchdowns in a start against UC Davis (10/24)... rushed for 50 or more yards five times.

FRESHMAN SEASON • 2008
Saw limited action in his freshman season, playing in two games... was fourth on the depth chart among quarterbacks... completed one pass for eight yards and ran once for eight yards in the game at Weber State (11/1)... was a redshirt in 2007 when he was named Offensive Scout Team MVP by his teammates.
