Has been one of the Big Sky Conference’s best kickers through his first two seasons... ranks eighth all-time in field goals in PSU history already (26)... a perfect 83-83 on extra points... has three of the 16 50+ field goals in PSU history.
SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2019
Another strong season, competing in all 12 games... kicked 15-22 field goals and converted all 45 extra points... ranked 19th in the nation in field goals made per game... tied for fifth-most field goals in a season in PSU history... set three schools records... had longest kick in Portland State history with a 56-yard field goal at Northern Colorado (10/19)... established a new record for consecutive extra points made (82)... tied the school record with five field goals in one game at Northern Arizona (10/26)... also booted a 50-yarder in the season-opener at Arkansas (8/31)... named third team All-Big Sky Conference.
FRESHMAN SEASON • 2018
Won the starting kicker job in preseason camp and proceeding to have an outstanding year as a true freshman... handled all the kicking duties, converting 11-14 field goals, 37-37 extra points and 58 kickoffs... one of only four Big Sky kickers not to miss an extra point... only field goal misses were from 49, 42, and 48 yards... highlight of the season was his 52-yard game-winning field goal with four seconds left at 14th-ranked Montana (10/6)... that gave the Vikings a 22-20 win and was his third field goal of the day (22, 43, 52).... was named Big Sky Conference Special Teams Player of the Week... also made three field goals against Montana State (9/22) from 44, 26 and 42 yards... kicked two field goals (38, 37) in the win at Sacramento State (10/27)... named third team All-Big Sky Conference... earned Academic All-Big Sky Conference.
BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Competed in football, volleyball and soccer at Murrieta Valley High School... a four-year letterwinner in football... named first team All-League as a senior... Southwestern League Champions in 2016 and 2017... Special Teams MVP in 2015... 2017 Chris Sailer Top 12 kicker, ranked 15th in the nation... four-year letterwinner in soccer... team offensive MVP in 2015... two-year team captain... lettered twice in volleyball.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Chris and Karina Williams... has one brother, Clayton, and one sister, Kaylee... majoring in Business Administration: Management and Leadership and Marketing... hobbies include spending time with family, playing soccer/futsal, hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding and traveling... also active in high school community service programs.
