Jared Hilbers joined the Viking staff in 2021 prior to the start of fall practice. This season he assists with the offense, working with tight ends.
Hilbers, a native of Beaverton, had a successful career at the University of Washington, playing four seasons before graduating in 2019. He earned a degree in Communications with a minor in Business. In 2020, Hilbers spent time on NFL practice squads with the New York Jets and Jacksonville Jaguars.Â
Hilbers was once recruited by Coach Bruce Barnum out of Beaverton High School before getting the opportunity to play in the Pac-12.
