Played two seasons at Santa Monica College… Southern California Football Association Region IV Defensive Player of the Year… named to College Football Network All-America third team and JC Gridwire Ultimate All-American fourth team… a two-time All-State and two-time All-League selection… Academic All-State... a team captain.... team won the league championship... had 86 tackles, six tackles for loss, a sack, two fumble recoveries, a pass breakup and a blocked kick as a sophomore… also had 86 tackles as a freshman, adding 7.5 tackles for loss, two fumble recoveries and a pass breakup.
 
Lettered in football three times at Redondo Union High School… had 90 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, seven sacks, two fumble recoveries, two pass breakups and a forced fumble as a senior… named first team All-League and All-CIF... team MVP and team captain.... made 71 tackles, eight tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, two fumble recoveries and a pass breakup as a junior.

Son of Christopher and Laurie Cox... has a sister, Abigail... plans to major in Social Science... hobbies are boxing, surfing and making YouTube videos... would like to be a football coach, work in the entertainment industry and help people.
