Petitioning the NCAA for an additional year of eligibility... should be the team’s free safety again in 2022 after a successful conclusion to 2021... has the ability to be around the play at all times... good athlete with lots of experience.
JUNIOR SEASON • 2021
After early-season development, became a major factor on defense... played in 10 games, starting eight, including the last six at free safety... fourth on the team with 48 tackles... also had 3.5 tackles for loss, a sack, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and five pass breakups on the season... made a season-high 10 tackles with 2.5 for losses, a sack and a pass breakup in the win over Western Oregon (9/18)... had five tackles, a tackle for loss and fumble recovery at Idaho (10/9)... seven tackles and a forced fumble in the win over Idaho State (10/16)... made six tackles in each of the last three games.
BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Spent four years at UTEP… was a medical redshirt in 2019 with an ankle injury… played in nine games with one start in 2018… had 15 total tackles on the season… member of the Conference USA Academic Honor Roll in 2017.
Lettered twice in football at Frenship High School… played cornerback and wide receiver… had 73 tackles, two interceptions and 312 all-purpose yards… garnered 2-6A All-District second team honors and was named to Lone Star Varsity Super Team.
