Walked on to the program during spring football 2017... had never competed in football previously... will battle Hayden Cowden for the starting job in 2018.

FRESHMAN SEASON • 2017
Played in the last two games of the season, starting the finale at Eastern Washington... had seven punts for a 38.6 yard average... had a long punt of 48 yards.

BEFORE PORTLAND STATE
Did not compete in football in high school... played two seasons of basketball... picked up punting on his own in 2016... attended the Ray Guy Prokicker.com camp and was named the top prospect from the state of Washington in 2016... graduated with honors from Tahoma High School.

Son of Corrin and Chris Niesner... has one brother, Austin... majoring in Applied Health and Fitness... hobbies are photography and working out... would like to open his own fitness and physical therapy center.
