Played a year at Willamette University... was named Scout Team Player of the Year in 2008... left school to join the military.

Lettered in football and track at Tualatin High School... named All-Conference as a senior... played in the state championship game in 2007... earned All-Conference, All-State and Team MVP honors in track.
