COACH BARNUM SAYS: "Alex plays with a real motor and I think he is a sleeper in the state of Oregon. He comes to a crucial position for us as our first commit of the year, making him a special addition."

Competed in football and track and field at South Salem High School… a first team All-League defensive tackle… earned honorable mention All-State… placed first in his district in the shot put.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Kim and Jose Sanchez… has four sisters, Corina, Jasmine, Lydia and Salena, and one brother, Dean… plans to major in Psychology.
