2025 CROSS COUNTRY:

Finished 47th overall as the Vikings' second runner at the Big Sky Championships (11/1), running the 8k in 26:12.8...Set a personal best in the 8k for the second straight meet, placing 37th overall in 24:49.6 at the Bronco Invitational (10/18)...Shaved two seconds off his 8k personal best while finishing 46th overall in 24:59.01 at the Charles Bowles Invitational (10/4)...Led the Vikings while making his PSU debut at the Mike Johnson Classic (9/27), placing 33rd overall and running the 8k in 25:01.90.
 

DAVID DOUGLAS HIGH SCHOOL:

Placed seventh at the OSAA 6A State cross country meet as a senior…Placed third in the 1,500 meters at the 6A-4 Mt. Hood Conference Championships, as well as fourth in the 3k…First-team All-Mt. Hood Conference in the cross country 5k, and outdoor 1,500 and 3k.
 

PERSONAL/MISCELLANEOUS:

Son of Salado Ali…His brother, Abdi Ibrahim, ran cross country and track & field for Portland State…Also has a brother, Ahmed, who ran for Boise State, Florida State and Alabama…Has four other brothers in Siyad, Hassan, Faysal and Fahad, as well as one sister, Farhiya…Lists basketball and video games like 2k, FIFA, or Call of Duty as hobbies/interests…Plans on majoring in public health.
