CAMP STAFF
Michael Seemann - Head Coach
In nine years as the head coach of the Portland State Volleyball program, Michael Seemann has led the Vikings to success greater then they had ever seen in their Division I era. Seemann has guided PSU to five Big Sky Conference regular season titles (2007, 2009, 2010, 2012, and 2013) and to the NCAA Division I tournament twice (2008 and 2010). The 2008 appearance in the NCAAs was the first in PSU history. That came after his squad won their first-ever Big Sky Tournament championship, and the Vikings accomplished the feat again in 2010. His nine-year record of 161-108 is the best coaches in the Big Sky. In 2008, he was honored as one of four coaches selected as an honorable mention for the National Coach of the Year by The Collegiate Volleyball Update (CVU.com). In 2010, Seemann was named the Big Sky Conference Coach of the Year. Seemann brings a creative and innovative approach to coaching his team and in the camps.
Rachel Williams - Asst. Coach / Camp Director
Coach Williams is new on staff as an assistant coach and will enter her first season with the Vikings in fall 2016. Williams has coached at the club level for over twelve years and brings both a knowledge and energy to the floor that will transfer to the camp atmosphere.
Eric Leibbrandt - Asst. Coach
Coach Leibbrandt has been a part of the Portland State volleyball program for the past 11 seasons in a variety of capacities. His assistance has helped the Vikings win five conference championships and make two appearances in the NCAA tournament. For the last eight years he has coached at the club level in and throughout the Columbia Empire Region. Eric is currently with Oregon Juniors Volleyball Club, and he enjoys working camps and connecting young people with the game of volleyball.
Current and former Portland State players will also staff the camps.
