Battled to the wire for the starting job in 2012, but spent the season as backup quarterback... a good combination of running and passing abilities... will again have a shot at the starting role in 2013.

JUNIOR SEASON • 2012
    Played in four games as a backup quarterback... was effective in a relief role at second-ranked Montana State (11/10), playing more than two quarters, completing 7-14 passes for 130 yards and a touchdown... for the season was 9-20 passing for 185 yards and a score... rushed 11 times for 67 yards.

PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
    Completed 60.7% of his passes for 2,218 yards in 2011… threw 30 touchdown passes, breaking the Butte JC record held by Aaron Rodgers... named first team All-NorCal Conference and All-California Region I... was the team captain and Most Valuable Player.
    Competed in football and basketball at Red Bluff High School... named All-League in football... earned honorable mention in basketball.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
    Son Debbie and Ralph Ramirez... born Dec. 3, 1990... has one brother, Garin, and one sister, Jessalyn... majoring in Physical Activity and Exercise... his hobby is coaching kids in his hometown... would like to go into the medical field.
