Saw his playing time grow as a sophomore, will compete for a starting role in 2013... a bit undersized, but a tough player.

SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2012
    Earned two starts and played in 10 games... also saw significant action on special teams... had 22 tackles, an interception, a forced fumble and a pass breakup... ranked 11th on the team in tackles... made a career-high six tackles and an interception in the win over Idaho State (10/6)... posted three tackles and a forced fumble in the win at UC Davis (10/27)... had five tackles at Montana State (11/10)... missed final game against Eastern Washington with injury.
 
FRESHMAN SEASON • 2011
    Played in six games on special teams... a redshirt in 2010 who participated on scout team.

PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
    Lettered in football at St. Mary’s Prep in Berkeley where he twice earned All-League honors... as a junior, he had 89 tackles, six forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries... team defensive MVP as a senior... also earned three letters in track.

    Son of Annette Devine... born September 23, 1991... has one sister, Maya... majoring in Communications... was a mentor to incoming freshmen in high school.
