Played in eight games, making one start... missed three games with injury early in the season, slowing his progress... had one tackle at Montana State (10/9) and one tackle against Eastern Washington (10/30).

FRESHMAN SEASON • 2009
Had a solid season as a backup defensive end... one of 15 true freshmen to play, he competed in all 11 games... had 13 tackles on the season, three tackles for loss and two sacks... had a sack against Oregon State (9/5) in his first collegiate game... made three tackles, two for losses, and a sack against Northern Arizona (10/17).

PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
Lettered in football three years at Thousand Oaks High School... was a first team All-Marmonte League selected and named first team All-Ventura County... also named to the scout.com All-Northern CIF team... twice named the outstanding lineman of the year on his team... had 69 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 11 sacks and 13 quarterback pressures as a senior... also competes in track and can throw the shotput 56 feet.
