Expected to transition back to quarterback after playing two seasons at safety... smart, experienced player who has played mainly on special teams the last two years... came to PSU as a quarterback in 2009... was moved to safety because of a logjam at quarterback and to take advantage of his athleticism... was recruited hard by Portland State out of high school by originally attended Air Force.

JUNIOR SEASON • 2011
Played in all 11 games, mostly on special teams... saw some action on defense... had six tackles for the season... had season-highs of two tackles at TCU (9/24) and against Willamette (10/22).

SOPHOMORE SEASON • 2010
Moved over to safety in preseason camp because of the depth at the quarterback position... played in nine games as a backup, missing two because of a knee infection... had 17 tackles and one interception... made four tackles in the season-opener at Arizona State (9/4)... had two tackles and an interception in the win over Idaho State (10/2)... earned Academic All-Big Sky Conference honors... was a redshirt in 2009.

PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
Spent 2008 at Air Force Academy where he competed on the junior varsity team.

Graduated from Central Catholic High School in Portland where he was a first team All-Mt. Hood Conference quarterback in 2007... named Old Spice National Redzone Player of the Year for Oregon... a two-time All-League quarterback in the Tri-Co League (2004, 2005)... selected as his team’s offensive MVP three times.  

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Deanna and Alan Green... born August 12, 1989... has one sister, Alaina... majoring in Psychology and Communication Studies... hobbies are snowboarding, wakeboarding and working with Special Olympics.
