Can shoot from deep, but he can also put it on the floor and finish at the rim, and post up... an excellent dunker... started the first 53 games of his PSU career, averaging 11.6 points with 105 three-point field goals... however, a twice broken foot late in his junior season and early in his senior season knocked him out for 26 games and seriously affected his playing ability… finished career with 135 three-point field goals to rank eighth all-time at PSU.
2010-11 • SENIOR SEASON
Appeared to be back to normal at the start of practice followed a broken foot during his junior year. But he rebroke the foot on Nov. 8… did not return to play until 1/8 against Eastern Washington… played mainly in a reserve role after returning from injury, playing in 16 games, starting four… averaged 23.7 minutes, 6.4 points and 3.5 rebounds… shot just .296 from the field and .316 from three-point range... numbers were down from the previous two seasons and related to his foot injuries and conditioning that caused him to miss 26 straight games... had three-double figure scoring games… grabbed a career-high nine rebounds to go with nine points in the win over Sacramento State (1/29)… posted a season-high 14 points (5-8 FG, 4-6 3-pt) in the victory over Loyola Marymount (2/19)… had 12 points (4-7 3-pt FG) in his career finale win over Seattle (3/10).
2009-10 • JUNIOR SEASON
A season of improvement was cut short by a broken foot after 20 games... broke the fifth metatarsel on his left foot during practice on Jan. 26... started the first 20 games of the season, averaging 12.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.1 steals... hit 48 three-point field goals and had nine dunks... led the team in scoring three times... scored in double figures 15 times... named Big Sky Conference Player of the Week on Dec. 14... the honor came after a 28-point performance in a win over Pepperdine (12/13), hitting 10-15 from the field, including 8-12 from three-point range... scored 20 points against Northern Arizona (1/17)... had 18 points on 5-7 three-point field goals in a win over Sacramento State (1/2).
2008-09 • SOPHOMORE SEASON
One of two Vikings to start all 33 games this year... averages 10.8 points to rank fourth on the team... also third in three-point field goals made (57)... led the team with an .841 free throw percentage... ranked 17th in scoring and 11th in three-pointers made in the Big Sky Conference... had 26 dunks to lead the team... led the team in scoring five times, rebounding three times and assists six times... 17 double-figure scoring games... four 20-point games... named All-Tournament at the Great Alaska Shootout over Thanksgiving weekend... led the tournament in scoring at 18.7 points per game... also averaged 4.3 rebounds, made a tourney-high 10 three-pointers and shot .875 at the line... scored a season-high 24 points against Hampton (11/28)... had a 16-point, five-rebound game at Gonzaga (12/23)... hit the go-ahead three-pointer with 1:09 left to play in the win at Gonzaga... posted a 16-point, 8-rebound game at Baylor (12/29)... averaged 16.0 ppg and 6.5 rpg against PSU’s two nationally-ranked opponents... scored 23 points (7-10 FG, 4-6 3-pt FG, 5-5 FT) with five rebounds in a win over Idaho State (1/10)... had 22 points (9-14 FG, 4-8 3-pt FG) in a win over Eastern Washington (1/24)... posted 21 points (6-12 FG, 2-7 3-pt FG, 7-7 FT) with a career-high seven steals in the ESPNU BracketBuster win over Boise State (2/21)...
Postseason: had 21 points, four rebounds, four assists and two steals in the two Big Sky Tournament games... scored 14 points in the semifinal win over Idaho State (3/10)... did not score, but grabbed four rebounds and had two steals in 29 minutes against Xavier in the NCAA Tournament.
PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
Played one season at the University of Washington (2006-07)... competed in 31 games, starting nine and averaging 14.9 minutes... averaged 4.7 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.
Attended McNary High School where he lettered in basketball four times... .. one of the top shooters in the state of Oregon... averaged 20.8 points per game, 8.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists as a senior... as a junior, he averaged 22 points per game... a first team All-Valley League selection three straight seasons... was first team All-State in 2005... team MVP as a junior and senior after being Most Improved as a sophomore... won the district championship in track as a senior with a high jump of 6-8.
