PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
First attended Colorado, then transferred to San Jose State... while at Colorado in 2007 he served as the team’s kickoff specialist... had 58 kickoffs and nine special teams tackles... a member of San Jose State program in 2008 and 2009... after redshirting in 2008, he kicked for the Spartans in 2009, making 7-11 field goals, including all five inside of 40 yards, with a long kick of 46 yards... he earned Academic All-WAC honors.
   
Lettered in football at Jesuit High School where he was a 2006 first-team All-State placekicker... was 83-of-86 in PAT attempts for Jesuit... helped his school win two Class 6A state championships... a three-sport letterwinner who was a sprinter and hurdler in track and a defenseman for the soccer team.
