Transferred to Portland State in August adding depth and experience to the roster... ended up moving into the third-string role, and eventually backup quarterback with the injury to Drew Hubel... played in the last five games of the season and started the season finale at Idaho State (11/14)... completed 23 of 42 passes for 239 yards, two touchdowns and four interceptions... for the season was 30-61 passing for 303 yards, three touchdowns and six interceptions... first action of the season was the final series against Northern Arizona (10/17)... completed five of seven passes for 52 yards and a seven-yard touchdown to Ray Fry.

PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
A transfer from Oregon State where he redshirted in 2007, then appeared in three games in 2008 (Hawai’i, Washington State, UCLA)... attempted two passes without a completion in brief play.

A three-year letterwinner at Scappoose High School... was a two-time first team All-Cowapa League performer... earned scholar-athlete honors fomr the National Football Foundation... also lettered three years in basketball and one year in track... was a two-time team MVP in basketball and two-time first team All-League... was also Senior Class President and a member of the National Honor Society.
