A transfer from Northern Arizona where he redshirted in 2007... sat out the 2009 season at Portland State due to NCAA transfer rules... a squad member in 2010... has been beset by injury, keeping him off the field.

Attended Northern Arizona where he redshirted in 2007... did not play in 2008.

Played at Central Catholic High School where he earned first team All-Mt. Hood Conference honors in 2006... earned the scholar-athlete award.

Son of Ivan and Liz Danek... born June 18, 1989.... has one brother,  Mario... studying mechanical engineering.
