BEFORE PORTLAND STATE

Played in 28 games with one start at San Jose State, making 68 career tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks and a fumble recovery... has seen action on offense and defense at the major college level... played in all eight games as a defensive lineman in 2020, making first career start in the Offerpad Arizona Bowl vs. Ball State...  credited with a season-high six tackles, a quarterback sack and recovered a fumble in the red zone... was in on 18 tackles on the season... played in all 12 games in 2019, making 32 tackles... made a career high seven tackles in the win at Army... fourth on the team with five tackles for loss... added two sacks... played both offense and defense as a freshman, seeing action in eight games... also served as a short-yardage back... a 2018 Academic All-Mountain West award recipient.        
 
Outstanding two-way player at Silver Valley High...credited with team highs of 25.5 tackles for loss and five forced fumbles as a senior while making 98 tackles... was the 2017 CIF Southern Section Division 13 Offensive Player of the Year and the Crossland League Co-Offensive Player of the Year... rushed for 2,885 yards and 35 touchdowns and caught 12 passes for 149 yards and a touchdown... concluded his high school career playing in the 2018 Polynesian Bowl all-star game in Honolulu… also competed in basketball and track.

Son of Eteru and Fionna Ane... has two brothers, Mata and Andrew, and one sister, Belindarose.... a sociology major... his uncle, Mike Iupati, played 11 years in the NFL as an offensive lineman... a native of Frankfurt, Germany… interested in social work and working with at-risk youth.
