An experienced player who brings stability to the defensive line... will compete to start again this year.

JUNIOR SEASON • 2010
Started four games and played in all 11 in 2010... totalled 14 tackles and three tackles for loss... had a season-high three tackles at Montana State (10/9).

PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE
Played two years at Palomar Junior College... as a sophomore, he was named first team All-Southern Conference... had 33 tackles, four tackles for loss, a sack and a forced fumble...  his team was 10-3, reaching the Southern California championship and was ranked eighth nationally... had 17 tackles and a sack as a freshman.

Was a three-year starter at Education Lab High School... earned second team All-League and second team All-State honors... selected to play in the Hawai’i All-Star game.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Son of Esther and Emelio Vaiese... born Oct. 30, 1990... has two brothers, Emmit and Reese, and two sisters, Fialani and Aaliah... Criminal Justice major... has two cousins who have played in the NFL... hobbies are haning out with family, playing video games and relaxing.
