Originally recruited out of high school by the Vikings before choosing Rutgers... transferred to Portland State after fall term and competed in spring football... great potential as a dual-threat quarterback.

FRESHMAN SEASON • 2019

Saw limited duty as a backup quarterback... got into four games... threw a 16-yard touchdown pass in his only throw of the season, against Eastern Oregon (9/21)... rushed four times for eight yards in the win over Idaho (10/12).

BEFORE PORTLAND STATE

Was a redshirt last season at Rutgers University.

Attended Narbonne High School in Los Angeles where he led his team to four city championships and two state championships… completed 176-314 passes for 3,133 yards and 29 touchdowns as a senior… also rushed 51 times for 388 yards and five TDs… threw for 516 yards on 24-39 passing against St. Louis HS… won the Division 1-A CIF State Championship, overcoming a 21-point deficit… finished season at 12-3…. selected to the 2017 Blue Grey All-American Bowl… as a junior completed 233-339 passes for 3,926 yards and 52 touchdowns… rushed 68 times for 622 yards and six TDs… named MaxPreps first team All-State in 2016 after leading his team to the Division 1-A CIF State Championship and a 14-1 record… earned All-City Section Player of the Year… named Offensive Player of the Year by Torrance Daily Breeze.
