Competed in five meets … Big Sky All-Academic selection ... Recorded his best time in the 200-meters in season-opener, Jackson's Open, with a 23.42 (Dec. 5) ... Recorded no height in the high jump competition ... Qualified for the Big Sky Championship with a 6-5.50 in the high jump at the UW Invitational (Jan. 30) ... Dazzled with a seventh-place finish in Bozeman, Mont., in the high jump, 6-7, at the Big Sky Championship (Feb. 27).
2010 OUTDOOR:
Participated in four meets … Big Sky All-Academic selection ... Opened the outdoor season at the Oregon Preview in the long jump and the 200-meters (March 20) … Recorded a 19-6.25 and the 23.68, respectively … Cleared a season-high 6-4 at the Willamette Invitational (April 3).
PREVIOUS TO PORTLAND STATE:
Competed four seasons in track and field and one in football at Crescent Valley High School in Corvallis, Ore. ... Placed second in high jump at 2009 OSAA Track & Field Championships ... Finished third in high jump at state meet in 2008 ... Received the Rotary Award in 2009 ... Track team MVP in 2008 and 2009.
